Does Your Community Pharmacy Offer Enhanced Services?
If so, the Tennessee Pharmacists Association (TPA) invites you to engage in a discussion regarding the formation of an innovative pharmacy service network designed to integrate quality-driven, enhanced service delivery and dispensing services.
In regions and states across the nation, community pharmacists offering enhanced services are aligning together with a commitment to broaden the availability of medication management resources to patients. A Community Pharmacy Enhanced Services Network (CPESN) allows community pharmacists to collaborate with members of the medical neighborhood to achieve the goal of improving quality of care and patient outcomes related to medication use, enhancement of a patient’s overall health trajectory, and reduction of total cost of care.
In the midst of health care reform and changing payment models, value purchasers, as well as providers, have a growing interest in aligning with high-performing community pharmacies that have both the willingness and ability to provide enhanced care coordination between provider visits.
