| Presenter: | Bob Lobo, PharmD, FCCP, BCPS, graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Pharmacy and completed an ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency training program at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in 1989. Following his residency, Dr. Lobo accepted a position as a pharmacist at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. In this position, he established clinical pharmacy services to adult inpatient psychiatric, geriatric, neurologic, and internal medicine patients and was a part-time faculty member of the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. He was also an active preceptor in the hospital’s pharmacy residency program. Dr. Lobo transitioned from clinical practice to a clinical leader role in 2006. In 2008, he moved to Nashville, where he currently serves as Director, Clinical Programs in the Department of Pharmaceutical Services at Vanderbilt. In this role, Dr. Lobo is engaged in clinical program development, medication use policy, clinical decision support and oversight of educational programs for students, residents and staff. |
