Since the successful passage of Public Chapter 569 and its effective date of July 1, 2021, TPA has heard from many pharmacists and pharmacy technicians about the implementation process, especially regarding the filing of PBM complaints with the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI). TPA has worked with TDCI to troubleshoot the complaint process and has been working to develop materials to guide pharmacies as they submit formal PBM complaints.
