The most recent provider notice summarizing upcoming PDL changes for the TennCare pharmacy program has been posted HERE. The notice lists individual PDL changes effective on November 1, 2013, and December 1, 2013.

Many of the changes are a result of new contractual arrangements through Magellan Health Services, TennCare’s new pharmacy benefit vendor. As a result of these changes, some medications that patients are now taking may be considered non-preferred agents in the future. Patients who are on these medications should be informed that switching to preferred products will decrease delays in receiving their medications.
