Reminder: The Bureau of TennCare issued a provider notice summarizing changes for the TennCare pharmacy program that are effective February 1, 2014. Pharmacists may access the notice HERE.

Effective February 1, 2014, certain insulin syringes will no longer be on the covered OTC lists. The notice includes a list of label names and NDCs; pharmacists are instructed to check both the label name and NDC, as not all NDCs will be excluded for all products.

Changes to Prior Authorization Criteria are included in the notice, as well.
